Spring auction at Christie’s: Japanese and Korean Art

The Spring celebration of Asian Art Week at Christie’s New York from 22-25 March presents works of art from some of the most respected private collections of our time featuring remarkable works which exemplify rarity and beauty, with many highlights offered from dedicated private collections such as The James and Marilynn Alsdorf Collection and the Magnificent Qing Monochrome Porcelain and Earlier Works of Art from the Gordon Collection.

Joseon Dynasty (15th century) 

The sales commence 22 March with The James and Marilynn Alsdorf Collection, and Indian and Southeast Asian Art, followed by South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art and Japanese and Korean Art on 23 March, Magnificent Qing Monochromes and Earlier Works of Art from the Gordon Collection on March 24, and conclude with Fine Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art including Property from the Arthur M. Sackler Collections on 24-25 March
